I'm only posting this all again because somebody tried to convince me the other day that Norton Personal Firewall saved them from 270 "hacks" in 2 days on their cable. Until I explained that this happens to everyone and so long as he doesn't have a trojan server on his machine then it'll be ok. I then explained what a trojan server is. And installed one. And passworded it. hehehehehe :D
Much more fun than pcAnywhere, and cuz he's on cable = always online. Fixed IP too... Although it's for his own safety, it's passworded with a 35-letter password so that other people can't use it. Basically so long as he has that trojan on there he's safe from attacks unless someone has a brute forcer and LOTS of time to wait.
l8rz,
Mista Kristfa.

Monday, March 18 Aaaah... Quality site. I can use the POP3 webmail feature to check my NSDesign pop mail at school without using gh3y-ass Hotmail POP3 or the flakey ntlworld POP retrieval facility... Eeeexcellent.
Time to return to music composition, i have to get everything finished and handed in by Wednesday or I've failed my GCSE Music course. Oooer... :S

Sunday, March 17 Here's a link which I spent ages browsing round. It's an FTP site, but worth it - a totally random find while downloading 3DMark2001 SE, and it's a good one.
Toodleooo, I just found out that neither 3DMark2001 or PCMark2002 will work without DirectX 8.1... And This is a Windows ME puter running on the standard base install. dX 6. Bleargh :D Time to download dX8.1. 11mb gah - at least i'm connected at 49.3kbps :|

So yeah, went to Nottingham today after doing my French GCSE Oral exam. Ewww remind me not to do it again in a hurry ;)
I also, while using a loo in a service station, saw a sticker on the door. It said, "Stuntface... Can your puny body survive?"
I was intrigued, and while the sticker had "www.stuntface.com" marked all over it, while surfing on our friends' puter, failed to turn up any results. So, I googled for it... And it turns out to be a punk album! yay.
http://www.disclocate.com/release_pages/Stuntface.htm for the tracklisting and a link to order the album... I might just do this, it's only £6. Or $12 for you US ppl... Though I doubt anyone at all actually reads this. Heh.
Right, off a-surfing we go... Damnit I should've bought my UT CD with me. Buggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbugger. Heh.

Friday, March 8 Oh look what I am.
I am an Asteroid.
I am a drifter. I go where life leads, which makes me usually a very calm and content sort of person. That or thoroughly apathetic. Usually I keep on doing whatever I'm doing, and it takes something special to make me change my mind. What Video Game Character Are You?

IVE GOT THAT FRIDAY FEELING! Plus I'm going to me mate's birthday party tomorrow night (Saturday 6:30pm until midnight then me and a mate are coming back home to get wrecked :D) so I'm feelin' kinda pumped. His parties always just end up in a moshfest... And this time he rented a bubble machine amongst other things! Yay.
Time to kick some ass bubble-style.

linked from dooce.com:

AND I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND THE FONT I WAS LOOKING FOR (the Jazz font that comes with Office XP - but I need it and I'm at school where they only have 2K). It's the same font as I used on www.infinitus.co.uk.
You try and work out how I got from google.co.uk to blurbomat.com via most of the font sites in the world, I can't figure it out. ;)
